Chris Schmidt

Chris Schmidt has a diverse work experience in the fitness and wellness industry. Most recently, they worked at Canlan Sports as the Director of USA Operations. Prior to that, they held various positions at lulafit, including Senior Director of Design Consulting, Senior Director of Operations, and General Manager. Before lulafit, Chris was the Director of Fitness and Wellness for JCC Chicago at EXOS. Chris also founded and owned TriForm Fitness, a personal training company, and worked as a General Manager at LifeStart Wellness Network. Additionally, they gained experience as an Exercise Specialist at ProSport Training and Rehab and served as an Assistant Track Coach and Graduate Assistant at Concordia University Chicago.

Chris Schmidt holds a Master's degree in Human Services from Concordia University Chicago, which they obtained in 2001. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science & Fitness Management from the same university, completing it in 2000. Before entering higher education, Chris attended Yorkville High School. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained various certifications throughout their career, including a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from the Six Sigma Global Institute in 2023, a Strategic Leadership & Management Certificate from the Gies College of Business - University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2022, and a Project Management Certificate from Google in the same year. In 2019, Chris also obtained a Data Analytics Certificate from Cornell University, an Ecdesign Expert certification from ECDESIGN Sweden AB, and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) in 2001.
