Nico Zimmerman

Nico Zimmerman has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Nico is currently working at Cannondale as the General Counsel and Chief Human Resources Officer. Prior to this, they served as the General Counsel at Dorel Sports, where they led the global legal team and oversaw operations across multiple countries. Nico has also worked as a Senior Associate at Sidley Austin LLP, specializing in US capital markets and public company governance matters. Additionally, Nico co-founded Aipura LLC, a biohazardous waste transportation and disposal business, where they served as the Co-Founder and General Counsel. Nico played a key role in the successful sale of the company to a leading public company in the industry. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Associate at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP and Irell & Manella LLP, advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, investment structuring, and general legal matters.

Nico Zimmerman began their education in 1996 at UCSD - Revelle College, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree. Their field of study was History, with double minors in Management Science and Political Science. After completing their undergraduate studies in 2000, Nico then pursued further education at the University of California, Los Angeles - School of Law. From 2001 to 2004, they earned a JD degree specializing in Business Law.
