Daniel McKenzie

Daniel McKenzie has extensive experience in the field of data science and analytics. Daniel has worked as a Senior Data Scientist at CannonDesign since 2023, where they are responsible for training new developers, conducting data science office hours, hiring analysts, and building models and dashboards. Daniel has also led the development of a client-facing web application using R, Shiny, Javascript, CSS, and HTML as part of a team of consultants and analysts.

Prior to this, Daniel worked at Medtronic as a Senior Data Scientist in 2022, where they used command line, python, and sql to research patient biodata for time series anomaly detection. Daniel made a significant impact in a short period of time before the business unit was spun off.

In 2022, Daniel was a Senior Data Scientist at Life Time Inc., where they used machine learning and Bayesian simulation with python to build a dynamic pricing strategy, saving over 1 million dollars in lost membership dues annually. Daniel successfully delivered this project to the CEO and put it into production with the pricing team.
