Richard Bednarczyk has a diverse work experience in the field of architecture. Richard began their career as a Project Architect at Belmont Freeman Architects in 2002 and worked there until 2005. Richard then joined Hillier as an Architectural Designer from 2005 to 2006. Richard then worked at GLUCK+ as a Project Architect from July 2007 to November 2008. Richard further gained experience as a Lead Designer at Heerim Architects & Planners from November 2008 to November 2009. Richard then established their own firm, Bedric Architecture LLC, where they worked as a Principal from May 2010 to December 2012. Richard joined Curtis + Ginsberg Architects as a Lead Designer + Project Architect from January 2013 to April 2014. Richard then worked at KPF as a Technical Coordinator from April 2014 to November 2015. Richard then joined NBBJ Design as a Senior Associate, Project Architect from November 2015 until March 2023. Currently, they are employed as a Project Architect at CannonDesign since March 2023.

Richard Bednarczyk earned their Bachelor of Architecture degree from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, where they studied from 1995 to 1999. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design at Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning & Preservation from 2006 to 2007. Bednarczyk's field of study throughout their education has been architecture.
