Sowmya Billanuka

Sowmya Billanuka has a diverse background in quality assurance, product management, and chemical engineering, with experience spanning multiple companies in the industry. Currently serving as a QA/QC Associate at Canntab Therapeutics since August 2021, Sowmya previously held roles such as Quality Assurance Technician at Johnvince Foods and Junior Product Manager at Lois Labs Inc., where notable contributions included owning product strategy for a housing application. Additional experience includes positions at Thermo Fisher Scientific, WATonomous, Bharat Dynamics Limited, and Vishakapatnam Steel Plant, which provided foundational knowledge in quality assurance and engineering practices. Sowmya holds a Master of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from the University of Waterloo and a Certificate in Business and Entrepreneurship from the Conrad School of Entrepreneurship and Business.
