Jennifer Hevia, MAOM has a strong background in human resources, with experience in various leadership roles. Jennifer is currently the Chief People Officer at Cano Health, where they oversee all aspects of the Human Resources Department, including HR strategies, employee engagement, talent acquisition, performance management, organizational development, compensation/benefits, HRIS & payroll, and employment law/compliance. During their time at Cano Health, Jennifer has successfully built the compliance infrastructure, implemented key HR policies and procedures, facilitated acquisition/integration onboarding, and focused on cultivating the workplace culture with the company's mission, vision, and values. Prior to joining Cano Health, Jennifer served as the Director of Human Resources at FirstService Residential from 2009 to 2017 and at The Related Group from 2004 to 2009. Jennifer also worked as the HR Manager HRIS/Compensation Administrator at IVAX Pharmaceuticals from 2000 to 2004.
Jennifer Hevia has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Barry University. Jennifer also holds a Certified Trainer certification in Leadership Development from Achieve Global. Additionally, they have obtained a Masters degree in Organization Management from the University of Phoenix. Jennifer has also engaged in National & Local Chapter activities at the Society Human Resource Management (SHRM).
