Ruben Kihuen

Ruben Kihuen's most recent work experience is as the Director of Government and Community Relations at Cano Health, a primary medical care provider that focuses on providing quality and affordable healthcare to underserved communities. Ruben started this role in October 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of External Affairs and Instructor at the Immigrant Home Foundation - Casa del Inmigrante, a non-profit organization based in East Las Vegas. In this role, they helped low-income Nevadans apply for U.S. legal residency. Ruben held this position from January 2020 to December 2021.

Ruben Kihuen completed their Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas in 2020. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Science in Education from the same university between 1998 and 2004, majoring in the field of Education.
