David Bear

David Bear, CIM®, has a wealth of experience in the financial industry, starting as an Investor Relations Officer at Tangent Management Corporation in 2005. David then moved on to roles as an Inside Sales Representative at AGF Management Limited in 2005 before transitioning to National Bank Investments as a Regional Director in 2008. David advanced their career at Natixis Investment Managers, taking on the position of Managing Regional Director in 2015, where they focused on building brand awareness and increasing product sales. In 2019, they joined Fiera Capital as a Managing Regional Director, working closely with Financial Advisors to promote retail mandates. Currently, David is the District Vice President at Canoe Financial, where they play a key role in managing a diverse range of award-winning mandates.

David Bear, CIM®, graduated from St. Michael's High School in 2000. David then attended Queen's University from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a BAH in Economics and Philosophy. In 2021, they obtained a Certificate in Advanced Investment Advice from the Canadian Securities Institute, followed by obtaining the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designation in January 2023.
