Alfred Champion has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Alfred started their career as a Senior Management Consultant at Arthur D. Little Inc. in 1979, where they worked until 1984. Alfred then joined Raytheon Company as the Manager of Strategic Planning and Business Development from 1984 to 1991. Following this, they served as the Director of Business Development - Communications Systems Division (CSD) at GTE Government Systems from 1991 to 1994. After that, they worked at Teleflex Inc. as the Director of Strategic Planning and Business Development from 1994 to 2001. In 2000, they founded ATC Corp., a management consultancy providing strategic advice to various industries, and worked there until 2015. Alfred also briefly served as the Executive Vice President at Magnetek in 2001. In 2004, they became the Group Vice President at Indel Inc. and concurrently the President and CEO at Canoga Perkins Corp., a position they still hold.

Alfred Champion's education history began in 1960 when they attended General Smuts High School and obtained a Transvaal University Entrance Certificate. Alfred then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Earth Sciences from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, completing their studies in 1970. Following this, they attended the University of Cape Town in 1971 and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Marketing.
