Leena Pradhan-Nabzdyk, PhD, MBA has been working in the fields of genomics, bioinformatics, and AI since 2005. Leena began their career at Tulane University as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Pharmacology in 2004, where they studied the metabolic and vascular complications of Highly Active Antiretroviral Therapy (HAART) in the treatment of HIV. In 2005, they joined Harvard Medical School as an Assistant Professor of Surgery and Instructor in Surgery. At Harvard Medical School, they were responsible for developing strategies and working with industry to develop therapies and medical devices for prevention and treatment of diabetes and cardiovascular complications. Leena also initiated and developed the diabetes wound healing program for pre-clinical development and secured NIH (95%) and private (5%) funding to run the program.

In 2005, Leena Pradhan-Nabzdyk also joined Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center as Principal Investigator and Co-Director of Research Training Programs. As Lab Director and Principal Investigator, they led a multidisciplinary team of engineers, biologists and clinicians to understand the clinical problem of diabetic wound healing and used state-of-the-art technology to develop engineering and biological solutions for the treatment of this disease. Leena also co-directed two different NIH funded training programs in vascular surgery research. Additionally, they worked in Business Development and Clinical Operations to develop a process to reduce the number of 'Did Not Keep' clinic appointment problem.

In 2015, Leena Pradhan-Nabzdyk became the CEO and Co-Founder of Canomiks, a genomics, bioinformatics, and AI-based Product Superiority Platform that assures functional food and beverage and dietary supplement companies their products are safe and efficacious. In 2018, they joined The Capital Network as a Fellow.

Leena Pradhan-Nabzdyk holds a PhD in Pharmacology from Tulane University, which they obtained between 1999 and 2004. Leena also holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biology from the University of Mumbai, which they obtained between 1992 and 1995. In 2013, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Management (Executive) from the MIT Sloan School of Management. In 2014, they attended Harvard Business School to study Commercializing Science.
