Manoj K. Bhasin has a wealth of experience in the field of biomedicine and bioinformatics. Manoj K. is currently an Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Prior to this, they held the position of Scientific Director at the Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University, where they focused on bioinformatics and systems biology. Manoj K. also served as the Director of the Single Cell Biology Program at the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center and Director of Genomics, Proteomics, Bioinformatics, and Systems Biology at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. In addition, they have worked as an Associate Professor of Biomedical Informatics and Pediatrics at Emory University School of Medicine. Manoj is the Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Advisor at Canomiks, a company that utilizes artificial intelligence and genomic data to design functional food for chronic diseases. Manoj K. also founded and serves as a scientific advisor for biomaRx Therapeutics. Earlier in their career, they served as the Director of Bioinformatics and Systems Biology at the BIDMC Genomics Center and Co-Director of the Genomics, Proteomics, Bioinformatics, and Systems Biology Center at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Manoj K. has held teaching positions at Harvard Medical School, first as an Instructor of Medicine and later as an Assistant Professor of Medicine. Throughout their career, Manoj has focused on data analysis, algorithm development, and biomarker prediction, with a specific interest in personalized medicine.
Manoj K. Bhasin began their education at Kurukshetra University in 1994, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry. Manoj K. successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 1998. Following this, from 1998 to 2000, Manoj attended Kurukshetra University once again, this time to pursue a Master of Science degree in Biochemistry. After completing their master's degree, they joined the Institute of Microbial Technology in 2000, where they undertook a Ph.D. program in Computational Vaccine Design Bioinformatics. Manoj K. successfully completed their doctorate in 2004.
