Akira Nabetani

Akira Nabetani has extensive experience in the medical imaging field, currently serving as Principal Engineer, General Manager, Senior General Manager, Senior Deputy General Manager, and earlier as manager at Canon Inc. since July 2011, where involvement in medical imaging projects has been a focus. Prior to this role, Akira Nabetani worked at GE Healthcare Japan from April 1995 to June 2011 as a Lead Professional and MRI RF coil researcher, contributing to R&D efforts and holding a Six Sigma Black Belt. Akira Nabetani has also completed assignments at the headquarters in Milwaukee and the R&D center in New York. Education includes a Master's degree in Applied Physics from The University of Tokyo, earned between 1991 and 1995.
