Mat Barker

Mat Barker has a diverse work experience in various industries. Mat started their career in 1998 as a Senior Key Account Manager at Salmat and worked there until 2002. Mat then joined HPA (Hermes Precisa Pty Ltd) as a Business Development Manager, where they stayed for six years. In 2008, they joined Australia Post as a Sales Specialist and later became a Business Development Manager in the mailhouse division. Mat worked at Australia Post until 2014. In 2014, they briefly worked as a Business Development Manager at Melbourne Mailing. Mat then joined Appster in 2015 as an Account Executive and worked there until 2018. During this time, they gained experience in mobile strategy. From 2018 to early 2019, they worked as a Business Development Manager at Amtek Corporation, a company that specializes in device continuity services. After that, they joined Appscore Digital as a Mobile Strategist, where they specialized in application development, SEO, and website services. Currently, they are working as a Victorian Account Manager at Converga Pty Ltd, a role they have held since 2019.

Mat Barker attended Epping Secondary College, where they obtained their VCE in 1997. Mat then enrolled in Epping TAFE and completed a Certificate IV in Software Development in 1998-1999, specializing in computer software engineering.
