Berly de Groot

Berly de Groot has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Currently, they are the Team Lead Production Engineering at Canon Production Printing, a position they have held since October 2021. Before this role, they worked as a Lean Facilitator from October 2020 to October 2021 and as a Production Engineer NPI from September 2017 to October 2020. Berly'searliest role at Canon was as a Production Engineer from July 2014 to September 2017.

Prior to joining Canon, Berly worked as a Student Assistant at Eindhoven University of Technology from February 2013 to May 2013. Berly also held a role as the Sponsor Coordinator of the Symposium Committee at SvBMT Protagoras from December 2011 to September 2012.

Berly's work experience also includes a role at Technology Promotion Foundation Eindhoven, where they worked as an Employee in a workshop called "Fun with your skeleton" from September 2009 to August 2010. Berly was responsible for conducting guided workshops for children aged 6 to 12 years, teaching them about the properties of bones.

Furthermore, Berly held a significant role as the Chairman of the Introduction Committee at SvBMT Protagoras from February 2009 to October 2009.

Berly de Groot completed a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Technische Universiteit Eindhoven / Eindhoven University of Technology in 2011. From 2011 to 2013, they pursued their Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology. In 2013, Berly undertook an internship at The Shoichet Lab - Biomedical Engineering at the University of Toronto. Berly also completed a minor in Medical and Sport Physiology at the University of Twente from 2010 to 2011. Berly completed their gymnasium education (NT+NG) from Dendron College in 2008. Additionally, they obtained certifications as a Six Sigma Green Belt from CQM and as a Lean Expert from LearninQ in 2016.
