Amir Ranjbar

Amir Ranjbar, PhD, currently serves as the Director of R3PI Powertrain Propulsion & Electronics Engineering and Sr. Technical Fellow in HV Power Electronics at Canoo since November 2021. Previously, Amir held the position of Sr. Technical Specialist in Electrification - HV Power Inverters at Dana Incorporated from January 2021 to November 2021. Amir's experience includes a role as Senior Field Applications Engineer at Monolithic Power Systems, Inc. from July 2018 to January 2021, and positions at FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles as Senior Power Electronics Design Engineer and Lead Design and Release Engineer for Electric Motors and Resolvers from 2013 to July 2018. Amir began the academic journey as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Texas at Dallas from January 2010 to January 2013, culminating in a PhD in Power Electronics from the same institution.
