Lei Cao

Lei Cao is currently serving as the Lead ADAS Engineer for Machine Learning at Canoo, a position held since April 2019. Previous experience includes a Data Scientist Intern role with the City of Los Angeles, where Lei developed complex ETL pipelines and conducted geospatial data analysis using various tools and algorithms. Prior experience as a Data Science Applied Lab Fellow at theDevMasters involved project-based learning in areas such as natural language processing, computer vision, and deep learning. Lei's earlier tenure as a Software Engineer at Hefei Meron Educational Science & Technology Co., Ltd. included developing a comprehensive school database system. Academic qualifications comprise a Master of Science in Computer Science from California State University-Dominguez Hills, alongside a Data Analyst Nanodegree from Udacity, and a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language and Literature from Anhui University.
