Payam Haghighi

Payam Haghighi is a Senior Product Design Engineer at Canoo, with extensive experience in optimizing battery enclosure designs and enhancing structural components for weight and cost efficiency. Previously, Payam held roles as a Product Design Engineer and Design Release Engineer, focusing on structural component design, layout maturation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Prior experience includes serving as a Design Engineer and Project Manager at The Ohio State University, where analytical solutions were developed for product variability in complex assemblies, and as a Mechanical Engineer at NEYRPERSE, where design and analysis of storage tanks and pressure vessels were conducted. Payam holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology.
