Alison Vyas

Alison Vyas has over 26 years of work experience in various finance roles. Currently, they are the Head of Expenses at Canopius Group since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Strategic Finance Business Partner at Metro Bank (UK) from June 2020 to September 2022. Before that, Alison held positions at QBE Europe as a Senior Finance Business Partner from December 2012 to February 2020, and as a Management Accountant from August 2010 to December 2012. Alison also worked as an Investment Accountant at BAE Systems from August 2007 to August 2010, and as a Finance Business Partner at RSA from February 2006 to August 2007. Alison's earlier experience includes roles such as Financial Analyst at Friends Provident from September 2000 to February 2006, Assistant Accountant at WD, a Western Digital company from February 1999 to September 2000, Credit Controller at Allianz Insurance from August 1998 to February 1999, and Accounts Assistant at Allianz Insurance from August 1996 to August 1998.

Alison Vyas completed their secondary education at Glebelands Secondary School in Cranleigh, Surrey from 1990 to 1994. Following that, they attended Godalming Sixth Form College from 1994 to 1996. In 2010, they obtained the certification of Associate Chartered Management Accountant from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
