Amritpal Bains

Amritpal Bains has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several companies.

Their most recent role was as a Payroll Manager at Canopius Group, starting in April 2023.

Prior to that, they worked at Cleveland Clinic London from February 2020 to April 2023 as a Payroll and Benefits Business Partner. In this role, they handled end-to-end payroll processing for 200 caregivers each month, utilizing the Workday HR and Payroll system. Amritpal also took the lead in implementing Salary Exchange Pension, resulting in substantial monthly savings for both caregivers and Cleveland Clinic London.

From September 2017 to January 2020, Amritpal worked at Network Homes Ltd as an HR Services and Payroll Team Leader. Amritpal successfully managed payroll processing for 500 employees each month and implemented process and system efficiencies that reduced the payroll processing time from two weeks to four days. Amritpal was also responsible for manual calculations, reconciliations, payroll checking, and preparation of management reports.

Prior to that, from April 2015 to September 2017, they held the position of Senior Payroll Officer at Network Housing Group.

Amritpal's earlier experience includes working at ADP UK from April 2013 to April 2015 as a Service Team Manager and from September 2010 to March 2013 as a Payroll Specialist.

Amritpal also worked at Giant Group as a Payroll Administrator from November 2007 to September 2010 and at Barclays as a Counter Manager from September 2004 to November 2007.

Amritpal Bains obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Payroll Management from the University of Worcester, where they studied from 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Leicester, where they studied from 2001 to 2004.
