Vikram Shanbhag

Vikram Shanbhag has over two decades of experience in the technology industry. Vikram is currently serving as the Senior Vice President - Americas at CANOPUS Networks since February 2023. Prior to this, they founded and directed Teya Ventures, LLC in 2016, where they provided strategic advisory and execution consulting for technology companies to promote global growth. Shanbhag has also served as a Board Advisor at Celmedia, an established CPaaS provider based in Chile, and as the Executive Vice President, Americas at Route Mobile Limited, a cloud communications platform service provider. Other notable positions include Managing Director - Asia South Region at Coriant, Vice President of Sales at FixStream Networks, and Senior Vice President - Americas Region and Global Channels at Comviva Technologies. Additionally, Shanbhag has served as a Board Member, North America at The Mobile Ecosystem Forum and held various leadership roles at Covansys Corporation and Trilogy. Vikram has extensive experience in M&A, strategic partnerships, sales and GTM planning, marketing and positioning, program management, and organization building.

Vikram Shanbhag holds an MBA in Marketing and International Business from The Ohio State University. Vikram also attained the degree of International Mergers & Acquisitions Expert (IM&A) from the Institute for Mergers, Acquisitions and Alliances (IMAA). Additionally, Vikram obtained a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Akron, and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Telecommunications from COEP Technological University. Vikram further pursued Executive Education programs, including the Bharti Leadership in Action program at INSEAD and the Venture Capital Development Programme at the Indian School of Business.

In terms of certifications, Vikram obtained various qualifications, including Digital Marketing Foundations from LinkedIn in May 2022, Learning VoIP and Unified Communications in July 2020, Learning Git and GitHub in March 2020, The Data Science of Retail, Sales, and Commerce in August 2019, Data Analytics for Business Professionals in June 2019, Data Science Foundations: Fundamentals in June 2019, and Web Development Foundations: Full-Stack vs Front-End in October 2017.
