Cody Porter

Cody Porter has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries. Cody started their career as a River Guide at High Country Adventures in 2011 before moving on to work as a Server and Bartender at Texas Roadhouse. Cody then served as a Server at Ruth's Chris Steak House from 2012 to 2013. In 2013, Cody joined the University of Utah as a Rental Specialist and Media Assistant. During their time at the university, they also worked as an Outdoor Instructor. In 2014, Cody became a Lead Climbing Instructor and Trainer at Avid4 Adventure. Cody then joined Mountain Education & Development LLC in 2014, where they held multiple roles including Senior Instructor, Development Manager, and Marketing Assistant. In 2015, Cody returned to the University of Utah as a Marketing Assistant. Cody then worked as a Senior UX Designer at Canopy starting from 2023. Cody also worked at Level Nine Sports as a Retail Associate and Keyholder, Marketing Content Specialist, Digital Designer, and finally as a UX/UI Designer. Between 2019 and 2023, Cody was a Director of UX/UI Design and a UX/UI Design Instructor at V School. Throughout their career, Cody has gained experience in various roles and industries, showcasing their versatility and dedication.

Cody Porter obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Experiential Education from the University of Utah in 2014. In 2019, Cody attended V School and pursued a degree in Experience Design with a focus on UX / UI Design.
