Shane Westra

Shane Westra has extensive work experience in product management and leadership roles. Shane currently holds the position of Chief Product Officer at Canopy. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Product Officer at SimpleNexus, where they played a key role in creating new product lines that resulted in significant revenue growth and positioned the company for a successful acquisition. Shane also served as the VP of Product at SimpleNexus. Before that, Shane worked at Bynder, where they held various positions including SVP of Product and Chief Product Officer. During their time at Bynder, they successfully combined different systems and processes to form a unified global Product organization and achieved substantial revenue growth. Shane also held the role of VP of Product at Bynder.

Before joining Bynder, Shane worked at Workfront as the Director of Product Management. Shane also gained experience at Pearson Education as a Senior Product Manager and at LexisNexis as the Director of Product Management, where they managed a suite of products and created a strategic vision for background screening products. Their earlier experience includes working at Onyx Graphics as an Engineering Project & Product Manager, where they oversaw the development of software products and managed localization efforts.

Shane Westra completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from the University of Utah, where they studied from 1994 to 1999. Shane further pursued their education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Brigham Young University, studying from 2004 to 2006.
