Spencer Shanholtzer

Director of HR & Culture at Canopy Credit Union

Spencer Shanholtzer has held various roles in the Human Resources field since 2011. From 2011 to 2015, they worked as a Brush Crew Foreman/Line Worker (Seasonal) at Pend Oreille County PUD. From 2015 to 2016, they were a Human Resources Manager and Human Resources Coordinator at Lowe's Companies, Inc., where they were responsible for administering personnel changes and partnering with other HR managers to consider business strategies. From 2016 to 2018, they were a Human Resources Manager at Pend Oreille County, where they managed all things Human Resources for 160+ county employees and advised and partnered with elected officials and department Directors. Since 2018, they have been the Director of HR & Culture at Canopy Credit Union.

Spencer Shanholtzer obtained a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from Eastern Washington University between 2012 and 2015. Additionally, they obtained a SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from SHRM in December 2020.
