David Pierce

David Pierce has a diverse work experience that spans over several industries. David currently holds the position of Director of Business Development at Canopy Health, where they have been working since 2021. Prior to their current role, they served as a Senior Business Development Manager at the same company.

Before joining Canopy Health, David worked at Providence from 2017 to 2021 as the Manager of Employer and Broker Relations. Prior to that, they were a Bilingual Engagement Specialist at Kaiser Permanente from 2012 to 2017. David also gained experience as an Account Manager at Vantreo Insurance Brokerage from 2010 to 2012 and as a Billing and Eligibility Consultant at Kaiser Permanente from 2009 to 2010.

David's career began as a Spanish Teacher at Cardinal Newman High School from 2007 to 2009. David then transitioned into the finance industry as a Financial Advisor at AIG VALIC from 2004 to 2007. Furthermore, David worked as an Independent Consultant at Pierce International Consulting from 2001 to 2004 and as a Project Manager at ICF Consulting from 1997 to 2001.

David Pierce completed their education at two institutions. From 1985 to 1989, they attended the University of Utah where they earned their Bachelor's degree in International Economics. Following this, they pursued further studies at The Fletcher School at Tufts University from 1989 to 1992, where they obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Development Economics and International Development.
