Damon Auger

Damon Auger has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Damon currently holds the position of Director of Product Management at Cantaloupe Inc since July 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Lead Product Manager at the same company from January 2022 to July 2023. In this role, they were responsible for managing the Seed platform and played a key role in the development of the Data Warehouse and dashboards solutions. Damon also mentored an Associate Product Manager. Before joining Cantaloupe Inc, Damon co-founded Hollerback, LLC in July 2020 and worked as a Co-founder until January 2022. Damon also worked as an Independent Consultant from August 2019 to February 2021, after a period of sabbatical. Damon has experience as a Solution Delivery Manager at Crane Connectivity Solutions from January 2017 to January 2019 and as a Key Account Engagement, Product & Solutions Manager at Crane Payment Innovations from January 2010 to December 2016. Damon has also worked as a Consultant at Jafa Consulting from August 2005 to March 2013, an Implementation Consultant at GEOCOMtms from June 2004 to July 2005, and a Business Development Manager at Vending Management Services Ltd from April 2003 to October 2003. Damon began their career at Marconi (Online Systems division) where they held the positions of Product Solutions Manager from June 2001 to April 2003 and Systems Engineer from April 2000 to June 2001. Damon Auger completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Physics & Computer Science from The University of Auckland between 1990 and 1992. Damon then pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the same institution from 1993 to 1994. Finally, Damon obtained a Master's degree (ME) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from The University of Auckland from 1995 to 1996. In addition to their formal education, Damon has obtained various certifications in data analysis, data engineering, agile project management, deep learning, digital transformation, and scrum.
