Russell Lessard

Russell Lessard has a diverse work experience in the legal and financial services industry. Russell is currently working as the Vice President and Associate General Counsel at Cantaloupe Inc since June 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Counsel, Director - Payments at Discover Financial Services starting from July 2021. Before that, Russell held multiple roles at PULSE, A Discover Company, including Director of Compliance, Network Documentation, and Revenue Accounting from April 2020 to July 2021, and Senior Manager of Compliance from January 2017 to April 2020.

Earlier in their career, Russell worked as an Attorney at Vacek, Thain & Lessard, PLLC from August 2015 to December 2017. Russell also served as the Chief Compliance Officer at Sanders Morris Harris from April 2014 to August 2015. Prior to that, they were the Senior Counsel and Director of Regulatory Affairs at Gulf States Financial Services Group from December 2012 to March 2014. Russell started their career at AIG, where they held the position of Vice President from June 1996 to December 2012.

Russell Lessard's education history includes a Doctor of Law - JD degree from South Texas College of Law Houston, obtained between 1998 and 2001.
