Dominique Tersago has extensive experience in the medical and pharmaceutical industry. Dominique began their career in 1997 as a Drug Safety Physician and Medical Monitor at Covance. Dominique then went on to become an Assistant Medical Advisor/Manager at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson in 1999. From 2000 to 2002, they were a Radiation Oncologist in training at Middelheim Hospital, Antwerp and University Hospital Leuven. In 2002, they joined Bristol-Myers Squibb as an Associate Director, Global Pharmacovigilance - Europe and then as an Associate Director, Regulatory Sciences - Europe, where they were responsible for European regulatory strategy and regulatory interactions for a portfolio of products. In 2011, they joined Ablynx as a CMO consultant and then as Chief Medical Officer, where they were responsible for leading clinical development activities. From 2017 to 2020, they were Chief Medical Officer at BiOncotech Therapeutics and Convert Pharmaceuticals. Currently, they are Chief Medical Officer at ExeVir and Cantargia AB.
Dominique Tersago obtained a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the University of Antwerp. Subsequently, they earned a Master's Degree in Economics from Birkbeck, University of London. Dominique also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Queen Mary University of London.
