Deb Schaber

Deb Schaber has extensive experience in event management and marketing. Deb is currently (since 2021) serving as the Director of Entertainment at Canterbury Park. Prior to this, they held the position of President & CEO (2017-2021) at the Saint Paul Festival & Heritage Foundation, where they oversaw a large budget, multiple events, and engaged stakeholders. Deb was also the Executive Director (2014-2018) of Shepherd's Harvest Sheep & Wool Festival, where they facilitated interactions between wool producers, consumers, and artisans. Additionally, Deb has worked as an Event Director, Marketing and Communications Director, and Show Manager (2008-2017) at Mid-America Festivals, handling various logistical aspects of live event productions. Deb also served as a Project Manager (2010-2017) at Highland Innovations and worked in sales and marketing roles at Norwest Marketing / Home Concepts (2006-2013) and Time Warner Cable Media Sales (2005). Deb started their career as a Marketing Coordinator (2006-2007) at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival. Throughout their career, Deb has demonstrated strong leadership skills and an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Deb Schaber holds a BA degree in Marketing from the University of Minnesota Duluth. Prior to their university education, they attended Wayzata High School. No specific start or end years were provided for either educational institution.
