Matthew Balint

Matthew Balint is an experienced technology manager and software engineer with a robust career spanning over two decades. Currently, Matthew serves as Senior Manager for Client Platforms and Streaming at Cantina, focusing on building a pioneering social AI platform. Prior to this, Matthew held key roles at Aircore and Airtime, contributing to real-time social software and media infrastructure projects, respectively. Notable achievements include proposing synchronized streaming media experiences and integrating third-party players into mobile applications. Earlier experience includes significant contributions at Cisco Systems, where Matthew led development of cross-platform networking quality of service software, and at Nortel, specializing in telephone switch image storage systems. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Mathematics in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo.
