Ellie Shin

Ellie Shin is an experienced software engineer and team leader with a strong background in mobile application development and product planning. Currently serving as the Design Platform Front-end Group Lead at Canva since October 2016, Ellie has taken on various leadership roles, including Team Lead of the Web Editing Team and Tech Lead for the Android Editor. Prior to Canva, Ellie worked as a Software Engineer at Tigerspike, specializing in mobile solutions, and gained valuable experience at Samsung Electronics in both product planning and software engineering, contributing to Android browser application development and conducting market research for tablet and smartphone accessories. Ellie holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Computer Engineering from Pukyong National University.
