Nick Borges da Costa is a seasoned HR professional with extensive experience in people leadership and organizational culture across various industries. Currently serving as a Senior People Leader at Canva since March 2021, Nick previously held the role of Senior People and Culture Manager at Volt Bank, a pioneering fintech startup. Nick's career also includes impactful positions at Amazon Web Services, where responsibilities involved building HR operations across the ANZ region and supporting global expansion. Previous roles spanned companies such as Hewlett Packard Enterprise, T-Systems South Africa, RBS Global Banking & Markets, Genworth Financial, and NCR, where Nick provided strategic HR support in complex environments. Nick holds multiple degrees, including an MCIPD in Human Resources Management and a Post-Graduate BSc (Honours) in Clinical Psychology, complemented by a Bachelor's in Organizational Psychology and Physiology.
