Erica Ellafy

Erica Ellafy serves as the AVP & Associate General Counsel at Canvas Credit Union since September 2022. Prior to this role, Erica held various positions at Chatham Financial from July 2016 to September 2022, including Director of Derivatives Documentation for Private Equity & Infrastructure and Lead of the ISDA Advisory team. Earlier experience includes a role as Mediation Associate in Default Management at SLS and a Servicing Compliance Analyst at Allonhill. Erica's career also involved consulting as a Loss Mitigation Underwriting Team Lead/Trainer at Promontory Financial Group and law clerk positions in esteemed legal environments, including the State of Alaska and the United States District Court. Erica holds a Juris Doctor degree from Ave Maria School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts with Honors from Drury University, specializing in English, Writing, and Women and Gender Studies.
