Zaven Keusseyan

Director, Regional Strategy at Canvas Worldwide

Zaven Keusseyan has a diverse work experience in the advertising and fitness industries. Zaven started their career as an Assistant Local Media Negotiator at RPA in 2006, and eventually moved up to become a Local Media Negotiator. In 2007, they became a Local Media Services Specialist, responsible for facilitating communication between the agency's headquarters and local media buying departments. Zaven worked with various clients during this time, including MGM Studios, Honda/Acura, and La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries.

In 2009, Keusseyan was promoted to the role of Local Media Services Senior Specialist at RPA. Zaven implemented multi-media campaigns for clients on a regional and national scale, and also compiled and interpreted media data for statistical modeling purposes. Some of the notable accounts they worked on include Honda/Acura National and Regional, Honda/Acura Dealer Associations, La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries, and Mandalay Bay.

In 2012, Keusseyan became the Local Media Services Digital Supervisor at RPA, where they supervised the planning and implementation of interactive media campaigns for T2-automotive clients. Zaven also integrated online media campaigns with offline activity and played a role in interpreting and compiling media data for statistical modeling.

In 2013, Keusseyan joined Davis Elen Advertising as a Digital Media Supervisor. In this role, they led an integrated media team responsible for developing, presenting, negotiating, and optimizing digital media campaigns. Zaven also clarified clients' objectives and developed key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure campaign performance. Additionally, they evaluated digital media landscape changes and represented the agency at industry events and panels.

In 2015, Keusseyan transitioned to Initiative as an Associate Director, Strategy. Zaven was recruited by senior management to help with the transition of the Kia account from Initiative Media to Canvas Worldwide. During this time, they presented media plans to regional Dealer Marketing Groups and worked primarily with Kia Motors America.

Also in 2015, Keusseyan founded their own company, Zoverlander LLC.

In 2015, Keusseyan joined Canvas Worldwide as the Director of Regional Strategy. Zaven led a strategy team responsible for planning all aspects of regional multi-media campaigns and reported directly to Canvas Worldwide's senior executives and client leadership. Zaven also interacted with client directors, managers, and dealer principles on a daily basis and served as the lead presenter in client meetings.

Keusseyan's most recent work experience was as a Fitness Instructor at the Los Angeles Athletic Club, a role they held from 2006 to 2020.

Zaven Keusseyan pursued their education in 2002 at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Mass Communication with a focus on Advertising and Public Policy. This academic journey lasted until 2006, marking an important milestone in their education history.
