Andrea Sirman

Andrea Sirman has extensive experience in interactive media design, currently serving as an Interactive Media Designer in the newsroom of The Ottawa Citizen, PostMedia Network Inc. since October 2001. In this role, Andrea focuses on web design, flash development, podcasting, video production, visualizations, social media management, databases, and print design. Previous positions include Interactive and Print Ad Designer in the Advertising & Marketing Department, where Andrea designed advertisements and enhanced client relations through interactive ads. Additionally, Andrea has a background as a Freelance Artist and Multimedia Designer at Flashgirl.ca, creating paintings and murals, and worked as a Character Designer for children’s TV shows at Funbag Animation Studios. Academic credentials include a degree in Graphic Design and Interactive Web Development from Algonquin College, along with studies at Vancouver Community College and Emily Carr University of Art and Design.
