Charlene Boettcher

Director - Compensation at Canyon Ranch

Charlene Boettcher has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles related to human resources and training. Charlene started their career in 1983 as the Director of Training for the Sheraton Long Beach Hotel, where they received the ITT Sheraton President's Award for pre-opening excellence. Charlene then joined the Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers as the Director of Training, overseeing leadership development, service training, and job skills training for a large staff. In 1994, they became the Corporate Director of Human Resources for Royal Home Fashions, responsible for all HR activities and managing multiple HR teams. Charlene then moved on to The Biltmore Company as the Director of Staffing & Satellite Offices before joining Canyon Ranch in 2005. At Canyon Ranch, they held several HR leadership roles, including Director of Human Resources and Vice President of Human Resources. In their most recent role as Director of Compensation, they were responsible for managing compensation projects, ensuring compliance with employment regulations, and leading the HRIS Shared Services team.

Charlene Boettcher earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from The University of Texas at Austin in 1979. Charlene later obtained a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the same university, though the specific years of their education are not provided.
