Paul McDonald has a history of successful roles in business development, vendor management, and professional sports. Paul began their career in 2000 as a Professional Athlete and Coach for the Crystal Mountain Alpine Club. In 2004, they joined the Olympic Physical Therapy/U.S. Ski Team as an Athlete, receiving media training and conducting interviews with local and foreign media. In 2005, they were the Director and Event Coordinator for the World Cup Dreams Cruise, where they arranged entertainment, food, auction items, and guests for the event. In 2010, they joined Amazon.com as an Associate Vendor Manager and was later promoted to Vendor Manager. In this role, they were responsible for vendor contract negotiations, customer experience, and driving profitable growth for the Industrial Electrical and Power Transmission categories within Amazon's Industrial Group. In 2014, they joined MODA Works LLC as Vice President of Business Development, where they helped partners develop and build a successful business on Amazon.com. In 2021, they became the Head of International at Cap Hill Brands, where they are responsible for driving asset EBITDA by reducing costs, improving operational efficiencies, and quickly ingesting new acquisitions.

Paul McDonald obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, Environmental Economics, and Statistics, Econometrics, and International Trade from Dartmouth College between 2002 and 2006.
