CTO at Capacitech Energy

Isaiah Oladeji has a wealth of experience in the field of technology. Isaiah has been a member of the Nigeria diaspora since 1992. In 1994, they became a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of Central Florida, where they conducted research on chemical bath deposition of CdS and ZnS thin films and the growth of fullerene by plasma enhanced CVD. In 1999, they joined Lucent Technologies/Agere Systems as a Member of Technical Staff, where they were responsible for the integration of low-k, Cu barrier, Cu seed, electroplated Cu, and packaging to the backend of 0.12/0.13 um devices. In 2002, they became a Senior Integration Engineer at Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing in Singapore, where they were responsible for the integration of FTEOS, Cu barrier, Cu seed, electroplated Cu, Cu CMP, and cleans to the backend of 0.13 um devices. Isaiah also developed an integration scheme for a new Cu ECP chemistry that increased the device yield by more than 30%. In 2003, they became Manager Cu BEOL Intergration at Atmel Corporation, where they were responsible for selecting all the Cu line tools and putting the Cu/FSG process integration scheme together. Isaiah also developed MIM capacitors process for RF application. In 2006, they founded SolMax Technologies LLC and served as President/CEO. From 2008 to 2018, they were President/CTO/Founder at Sisom Thin Films LLC, where they specialized in research and development of materials for solar cell, thin film battery, LED, and sensor applications using Sisom’s revolutionary water based nanoparticle film deposition platform. Customers included Planar Energy, Emcore, and the University of Central Florida. In 2010, they became CSO/PI at Planar Energy. In 2012, they became a Consultant at QuantumScape. Finally, in 2018, they became CTO at Capacitech Energy.

Isaiah Oladeji received their BS (Hons) in Physics from the University of Ilorin between 1983 and 1987. Isaiah then went on to receive their MS in Physics from the same university between 1988 and 1990. From 1993 to 1999, they attended the University of Central Florida, where they obtained their Ph.D in Physics (Experimental Condensed Matter Physics and Microelectronics) and their MS in Physics. Prior to this, they attended Baptist High School in Saki from 1979 to 1983.
