Sebastian Mika

Sebastian Mika is currently working as the Director of Data Science at CAPE Analytics since May 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Senior Director of Data at Navan from February 2022 to March 2023. Sebastian also had a significant tenure at Comtravo, where they held the position of VP Data Comtravo (acquired by Navan) from May 2016 to February 2022. Prior to that, they worked at stor.es as the CTO & CDO from October 2015 to April 2016, and as a Data Scientist & Artist from October 2014 to September 2015. Before their time at stor.es, they were the owner of idalab GmbH from June 2003 to October 2014. Sebastian began their career as an Intern at AT&T from January 2001 to April 2001, and later worked as an Intern at Microsoft Research Cambridge from May 2000 to July 2000. Sebastian Mika also served as an Associate at Catenion from 2007 to 2014.

Sebastian Mika completed their education at the Technische Universität Berlin from 1994 to 2002, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computer Science and Mathematics.
