Lauren D. B. is an experienced professional in strategy, government relations, and economic development, currently serving as the Vice President of Strategy & Government Relations at the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce since April 2023. Prior to this role, Lauren held various positions, including Economic Development Planner for the Town of Eastham and Chief Executive Officer at CCYP Inc., where oversight of operations and programming for a nonprofit focused on empowering Cape Cod's young workforce was essential. Additionally, Lauren has extensive experience in community engagement and event management, having served as Program Manager and Volunteer Coordinator at Keep Denton Beautiful and held roles at CASA of Denton County, Inc. and University of North Texas. Academically, Lauren holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and a Master’s in Applied Anthropology, along with certifications in strategic performance management.
