Kathryn Pohlman

Kathryn Pohlman, MPA, LEED Green Associate, currently serves as the Assistant Director of Environmental Management and Sustainability at Cape Fear Public Utility Authority since March 2022. Prior to this role, Kathryn was the Chief Sustainability Officer at UNC Wilmington from March 2014 to March 2022, amassing significant experience in reporting, coordination, planning, mentoring, and outreach, earning recognition through award nominations and media coverage. Kathryn's earlier career includes roles as Assistant Manager at Circa 1922 Restaurant Group (2009-2018) and Assistant Manager at Moxie Floral Design Studio (2008-2012), where strong organizational and customer service skills were demonstrated. Academically, Kathryn holds a Master of Public Administration focusing on City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning and a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology and Environmental Science, both from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
