Bonnie Niven

Director of Talent Development & Organizational Effectiveness at Cape Medical Supply

Ms. Niven joined Cape Medical Supply as Director of Human Resources and Corporate Compliance in June 2013. In September of 2015 her title was updated to Director of Talent Development and Organizational Effectiveness. In this role Ms. Niven oversees the human resources enterprise including payroll/ benefits administration and associated compliance; recruitment, onboarding and other employee-related programs; and organizational effectiveness and development as the company continues to deliver on the vision by striving for excellence every day, and constantly seeking to improve the services she offer. Ms. Niven is an active partner in the Lean continuous improvement efforts, is actively engaged in strategic planning activities, and is the primary coach and trainer for employee career development initiatives. She works across the organization to support organizational effectiveness and to ensure the training, appraisal and monitoring programs are aligned with the needs of the various business functions.

Ms. Niven has served in senior human resources and client relationship management positions for a number of companies in a variety of industries, including not-for profit, management consulting, telecommunications, healthcare, packaging and automotive products. Bonnie has hands-on experience with Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing methodology and was a key member of prior management teams during lean implementations. Her key areas of expertise are workforce planning and development, employee relations and change management.
