Yann Dupis

Yann Dupis is a Machine Learning Engineer at Cape Privacy. Yann previously worked as a Data Analytics Specialist Manager at Deloitte from January 2016 to June 2018. There, they led a team of 10 data analytics specialists using exploratory data analysis, data visualizations, and statistical techniques to help auditors solve problems for more than 200 clients in the consumer and product industry. Yann also oversaw technical committees providing training and defining standards for R, SQL, SAS and Tableau, impacting the quality of 900+ deliverables.

Before working at Deloitte, Yann was a Data Scientist Contributor at Oxford Internet Institute through the Coursolve platform from February 2015 to April 2015. Yann collaborated with the Oxford Internet Institute Research Team to explore how to promote social engagement in Massive Open Online Courses. Yann also performed A/B testing to measure the impact of targeted email recommendations on social learning patterns. Yann presented key findings and insights to Oxford Internet Institute Research Team.

Yann Dupis has also worked as an Actuarial Analyst - Research & Development at Intact Financial Corporation from January 2010 to August 2015.

Yann Dupis has completed a Nanodegree in Deep Learning from Udacity, a Nanodegree in Machine Learning Engineer from Udacity, and a Master's degree in Computer science, Electronics and Telecommunications from ISEP - école d'ingénieurs du numérique. Yann has also completed a certification from Coursera in Machine Learning, a certification from Stanford University in Statistical Learning, and a certification from Coursera in Statistics.
