Dan Getman

Dan Getman is the VP of Product at Capella Space, building the product roadmap with innovative SAR applications and customer use cases. With over twenty years working in geospatial analytics, Dan Getman has focused on generating insights from remote sensing and scalable analytics in both government and commercial industries. Most recently, he led the product management team for the data science platform at Descartes Labs, prior to which he established and led the commercial and international defense and intelligence product development teams at Maxar Technologies. Dan has also served as a research scientist and geospatial data science team lead at the National Renewable Energy and Oak Ridge National Laboratories and holds an MS in Remote Sensing from Purdue University.
