Jeff Karp

Jeff Karp has extensive experience in the field of information technology and security. Jeff currently serves as the VP of Information Technology & Security at Capella Space, where they are responsible for developing and implementing security policies aligned to industry standards. Prior to that, they worked as the Lead for IT, Security, and Infrastructure at Capella Space, where they contributed to the development of advanced small-satellites.

Before joining Capella Space, Jeff worked as a vCIO at Xantrion, specializing in outsourced managed IT services for mid-sized companies. Jeff also served as the Global Senior Director of IT at Vendavo, where they were responsible for managing a global team and designing and implementing the complete IT infrastructure.

Additionally, Jeff has held various IT leadership roles at companies such as Coverity, Symantec, GuardianEdge, NVIDIA, PortalPlayer, and iBEAM Broadcasting, contributing to their IT operations and infrastructure development.

Jeff Karp attended Bellarmine University from 1987 to 1991, majoring in Computer Engineering with a focus on Chip Design.
