Ted Quinby

Ted Quinby has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Ted is currently serving as the Director of Product Management for Data Access & Delivery Systems at Capella Space since May 2021. Prior to this, they worked at IQGeo, where they held multiple positions from 2014 to 2021. Ted worked as the Director of Product Management, responsible for the delivery of a strategic vision for IQGeo's software platform. Ted also served as a Technical Product Manager, maintaining and promoting the myWorld product line strategy. Additionally, Ted served as a Principal Consultant, leading the design of technical solutions for various targeted workflow-based application products. Before joining IQGeo, they worked at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory as a Senior Project Manager and Application Developer from 2009 to 2014. Ted also has experience as a Senior GIS Consultant at VESTRA Resources Inc. and as a Web Systems Manager and Software Environment Manager at Soil Information Technologies, LLC. Ted started their career as a Land Surveyor at Rocky Mountain Land Surveying. Ted's skills and experiences span product management, application development, GIS consulting, and project management.

Ted Quinby completed their education as follows:

From 1990 to 1994, they attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography and International Studies.

From 1999 to 2001, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Geography at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

In terms of additional certifications, Ted Quinby acquired the Geographic Information Systems Professional certification from the GIS Certification Institute in December 2008. Ted also obtained the Level One and Level Two certifications in the Pragmatic Marketing Framework. Level One was obtained from Pragmatic Institute (Pragmatic Marketing + TDI) in October 2018, and Level Two was obtained from Pragmatic Institute in March 2020.
