Z Megyery

Z Megyery serves as President of the MIT Club of Colorado and is currently a Senior Technical Program Manager at Capella Space. With extensive experience at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Z holds the positions of Vice Chair of the Educational Council in Colorado and Admissions Interviewer for the School of Engineering and School of Science. Z has a strong background in technical program management, having led significant projects including upgrades to satellite communication systems and the REXIS instrument for NASA's OSIRIS-REx mission. Recognized for engineering excellence by the MIT Department of Aeronautics & Astronautics, Z has also held roles at several notable organizations in the aerospace sector, including Launcher, Loft Orbital, and BlackSky, focusing on innovative satellite systems and mission management. Z's educational background includes a BS in Earth, Atmospheric & Planetary Sciences and Space Systems Engineering from MIT, alongside additional studies in political science and astronomy.
