Bruce Fischer

Bruce Fischer is a seasoned academic professional with extensive experience in higher education. Currently serving as Senior Core Research Faculty at Capella University since January 2000, Bruce teaches online courses and facilitates master's and doctoral colloquia within the Psychology Program at the Harold Abel School of Social & Behavioral Science. Additionally, Bruce chairs the faculty review panel and mentors doctoral learners. Previous roles include Executive Director at t2p Research Institute from January 2016 to June 2017, and Associate Dean Director of Continuing Education and Director of Training at Capella Education Company, where a significant online continuing education program was developed. Bruce also held the position of Program Chair for Human Services at Capella from 1993 to 1997. Bruce earned a PhD in Family Social Science from the University of Minnesota.
