Kelly Brooks

Kelly Brooks has extensive experience in academic administration at Capella University, serving since July 2004 in various roles, including University Registrar and Director, where responsibilities encompassed FERPA compliance, academic policies, and transcript maintenance. Kelly also managed a team of 10 in the Registrar's office, overseeing critical processes such as graduation clearance and degree audits, including the implementation of the university's first automated degree audit system. Prior to Capella, Kelly held positions at the School of Business and the University of Minnesota School of Nursing, contributing to program coordination and advising. Kelly holds a Master of Public Affairs with a focus on Policy Analysis and Higher Education Administration from the Humphrey Institute and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.
