Kyle Killian

Kyle Killian, PhD, LMFT, is a seasoned educator and practitioner in the field of marriage and family therapy, currently serving as a Professor and Associate Professor at Capella University since January 2014. With extensive experience in clinical practice as a Couple and Family Therapist since 2000, Kyle has contributed significantly to the profession through roles such as Director of the Couple and Family Therapy Training Program at LingYu Psychological Training Centre and a scholar at the Centre for Refugee Studies, focusing on trauma and resilience. Academic involvement includes teaching positions at York University and the University of Houston, along with membership in professional organizations such as AAMFT and the American Family Therapy Academy. Kyle holds a PhD and MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from Syracuse University and a BA in Psychology with a minor in Family Studies from Miami University.
