Theresa M. Kascsak

Theresa M. Kascsak, PhD, LCMHCS (NC), LPC (VA), NCC, RPT-S has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Theresa M. Kascsak, began their career in 1989 serving in the US Navy as a Lieutenant Commander, where they gained experience in operational planning, management, and leadership. From 1997 to 2000, they worked as a Human Resources Specialist at APL, focusing on recruiting, retention, benefits, career development, and employee welfare. In 2008, they transitioned to the healthcare field and worked as a Clinical Care Manager at ValueOptions, Inc.® until 2012.

In 2014, Theresa joined Monarch as a Clinical Operations Manager, where they were responsible for overseeing clinical operations until 2016. During this time, they also served as a Counselor at Carolina Partners in Mental HealthCare, PLLC from 2016 to 2017.

Since 2015, Theresa has been involved in academia, working at Capella University. Theresa M. Kascsak, started as a Teaching Faculty member and later became the Faculty Chair for Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Currently, they hold the role of Academic Program Director for Counselor Education at Capella University.

Prior to this, they obtained a Master of Arts (MA) in Counselor Education/School Counseling from the same university. Theresa M.
